About Us

Dee Why Parade Physiotherapy was established in 1997, originally trading as Collaroy Manipulative Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Centre in South Creek Road, Dee Why. The practice was relocated in 2003 to our present location on the first floor in the Oceanbreeze building in 5 Dee Why Parade, Dee Why. Our current premises offer modern, large and well equipped consultation rooms. The practice is accessible by both lift and stairs.

Parking is available close by in either the council carpark under Coles or the council carpark adjacent to Dee Why Library, as well as in surrounding streets. Although there is no parking within the building, it is possible to drive into the lane adjacent to the building entrance to drop off disabled patients.

Our practice is staffed by highly experienced and dedicated physiotherapists who each  have a minimum of 20 years post graduate experience. All physiotherapists regularly attend external continuing education courses to maintain and update their skills and knowledge.

In addition our  physiotherapists attend education events within the practice to share their knowledge. Our  physiotherapists are supported by our hard working receptionists at the front desk, who will answer your queries and assist with appointments.

At your first treatment session your physiotherapist will take a history and a full examination to work out your problem and the most appropriate treatment. This session will take at least an hour. We endeavour to work out an effective treatment plan that combines hands on treatment with advice on managing your condition. Your treatment may also include specific exercises and any electrotherapy that is indicated such as ultrasound, interferential or laser. Follow up sessions are scheduled for 30 minutes however you need to allow 45 minutes to an hour to allow for non hands on treatment.

A full report is sent back to your referring doctor at the completion of your treatment.
